We are Fredi & Louise, a Turkish/English partnership living in Turkey. In 2006 we opened an Art Gallery in Dalyan, Turkey, with the simple concept of selling Art which reflects Turkey’s rich history and culture.
Initially a cafe as well as an art venue the business flourished. After 11 years of serving tasty food and drinks as well as selling art, we sold the cafe and in 2018 Gallery iZ, Art Gallery was born.
All along we have remained true to our original concept which, was to bring Turkey into your lives through Turkish art and artefacts. We do this by focusing on art which symbolizes Turkish themes, beliefs, history, motifs and artists. We allow ourselves a little leeway, broadening our scope, by thinking in terms of the Ottoman Empire.
Still based in Dalyan, south west Turkey, we can now be found in a quirky shaped building just off the main shopping street. We are open during the summer months and by appointment in the winter. We are always delighted to welcome customers both new and old. For those who can’t get to us in person we hope that our website, facebook and instagram pages bring you a flavour of Turkey and a chance to acquire something unique for your home. Whichever way you meet us, we aim to give you a friendly, informative and enjoyable experience.
